True love and great sanctity available for homosexual persons

John-Henry Westen (pictured), co-founder of Voice of the Family and the editor of LifeSiteNews.com, has written an article for HotAir, an American secular news-outlet, entitled “God’s love must be shown in the Church’s treatment of homosexual persons“. In addressing a secular audience. John-Henry not only explains clearly the Church’s teaching on the wrongness of homosexual acts, but also shows how people with homosexual tendencies can be models for other Catholics. He writes:

“Faithful Catholics should look to the men and women who experience same-sex attraction but remain chaste as models to all who struggle with sexual temptations … [T]hose who live chastely with those temptations can even be great saints.”
